Who can use the AAdvantage® gift cards site?

AAdvantage® members based in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and U.S Virgin Islands can use their AAdvantage® miles to buy gift cards on the AAdvantage® gift cards site.

Where can I find updates about my order?

You’ll receive email confirmation within 24 hours after placing the order. The email will come from: no-reply@aadvantagegiftcards.com.

To follow up on your order status, log in to the AAdvantage® gift cards site and click on order history.

Who can I contact about my order?

You can contact the AAdvantage® gift cards help desk by phone at 833-442-3658 or email at support@aadvantagegiftcards.com.

How do I cancel my order?

Once redeemed, orders cannot be canceled. Gift card purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

How will I receive my gift card?

You will receive your gift card by email within 5 days of placing your order. The email will come from: no-reply@aadvantagegiftcards.com.

I cannot locate my gift card. Can you resend me the gift card?

Log in to aadvantagegiftcards.com  and go to your order history. You'll find the option to resend your gift card.

Can I use AAdvantage® miles but send a gift card to someone else?

No, the gift cards will be sent to the email address listed in your AAdvantage® account. If you choose to gift it to someone else, you will have to forward them the gift card details.

Can I have a physical gift card instead?

No, gift cards cannot be transferred to physical cards.

Can I return or exchange my gift card?

Gift card purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

When will my gift card expire?

Gift cards have no expiration date.

How do I check the balance on my gift card?

You can check your gift card balance by contacting the gift card merchant directly.

How do I update the email address on my AAdvantage® account?

To update your email address, log in to your AAdvantage® account on aa.com or the American app and update your profile.
